Job Summary
Job Description
This role focuses on building and maintaining the behind-the-scenes part of web applications the part users dont see but that makes everything work smoothly. The developer will join our clients Technical Unit and work on systems used by large financial institutions worldwide. Theyll collaborate with other teams like Business Analysts and Project Managers to deliver reliable high-quality software.
Location: Hybrid Mosta
Responsibilities:
As a Java Developer your broad responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Participate across various stages of the software development lifecycle
- Contribute to the design development maintenance and quality assurance of internal and client-facing solutions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Business Analysts Project
- Managers and other technical specialists to deliver high-quality outcomes
- Stay current with emerging technologies and development practices
- Carry out additional tasks as required by the company
Requirements:
- A degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field
- At least 2 years of professional experience working with Java XML PL/SQL CSS and JavaScript
- Strong understanding of database management systems preferably Oracle
- Hands-on experience with version control tools such as GIT
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools and practices such as Jenkins will be considered advantageous
- Experience working within Agile environments
- Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to problem-solving
- Excellent command of the English language
