Who We Are and What We Are Looking For
We are looking for a Junior Project Manager (JPM) who will play a vital supporting role in the successful execution of our hospitality multifamily luxury condo and mixed-use projects. This role is ideal for someone eager to grow within the FF&E industry a detail-oriented professional with strong communication skills who thrives in a dynamic collaborative environment.
The Junior Project Manager will work closely with Project Managers and Project Directors to ensure every project is delivered on time on budget and to the exceptional standard Farrell Flynne is known for.
Key Responsibilities/Objectives:
Project Coordination & Documentation:
Support the Project Manager and Project Director in creating and maintaining furniture schedules vendor communication logs and project documentation to ensure accuracy and clarity at every project phase.
Vendor & Logistics Support:
Coordinate with vendors warehouse teams and kitting facilities to track shipments materials and receivals; ensure updates are reflected in and communicated to internal teams.
Budget & Procurement Assistance:
Assist in developing and maintaining budgets sourcing VE (Value Engineering) options and preparing vendor quotes for review by the PM/PD.
Client Support & Communication:
Participate in project calls provide follow-up updates to clients and communicate clearly with vendors and installers under the direction of the Project Manager.

Detail-oriented and passionate about design.
A team player who thrives in a fast-paced small team environment.
Excited to grow into a full Project Manager role.
A strong communicator clear proactive and professional.
Flexible optimistic and capable of managing multiple moving parts.
Self-sufficient and motivated but collaborative in approach.
Fluent in English and confident with client communication.

Resistant to hands-on learning or constructive feedback.
Pessimistic or uncomfortable in a dynamic collaborative setting.

Rigid about 95 hours and unwilling to adapt to project demands.
Hesitant to speak directly with clients or vendors.
Must-Have Qualifications:
Background in project management design or procurement.
Experience or degree in construction management interior design or a related field.
Strong skills in Excel and automations/workflow tools.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications:
Experience in FF&E OS&E or architecture.
Familiarity with real estate development hospitality or luxury residential projects.
Exposure to procurement systems or vendor management platforms.
Success Metrics:
Within 30 Days:
Within 60 Days:
Can create project budgets from scratch.
Maintains client folders in OneDrive and communicates clearly with vendors and warehouse teams.
Confidently participates in client calls with PM support.
Within 90 Days:
Independently creates and maintains furniture schedules.
Begins learning about PO creation and project financials.
Actively sources VE (Value Engineering) options and alternates.
Manages shipping communications and provides client status updates.
Clarity of Role:
The Junior Project Manager supports the Project Manager and Project Director in the execution of all FF&E and OS&E procurement activities.
Owns:
Vendor coordination and communication
Schedule and documentation accuracy
Project tracking in
Vendor and warehouse follow-ups
Does Not Own:
What we offer:
Full-time job (8 working hours per day Monday-Friday). Please note that we will not consider candidates planning to combine several jobs.
Remote work you may be located in almost any country or city just need a good Internet connection a computer to work from and the opportunity to adjust your working schedule for the team (9-5 NY time).
Growth opportunity we are only looking for candidates interested in long-term opportunity to learn and grow with the team minimum 1.5 year commitment expected.
Salary will be discussed at the interview. Paid in USD.
