Quantity Surveyor Heavy Civils & Earthworks Suffolk
A civil engineering contractor specialising in large-scale earthworks is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to support commercial delivery on a nationally significant infrastructure scheme in Suffolk. The role involves managing NEC contracts across cut/fill drainage haul roads and associated early works on a long-term programme.
Key Responsibilities
Manage subcontractor procurement payments and accounts
Lead change control CE submissions and cost forecasting
Prepare and present CVRs applications and supporting reports
Liaise with delivery teams to ensure commercial alignment with site progress
Support contract compliance early warnings and final account resolution
Requirements
Minimum 5 years experience in heavy civils earthworks or infrastructure
NEC contract experience essential (Option C preferred)
Confident managing subcontractor performance and reporting to senior commercial leads
Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or related discipline
Site-based mindset with ability to work in a high-compliance environment
Package
Salary:(DOE)
Lodge allowance: 21630/year
Car allowance: 5000
Bonus: up to 10%
