Are you ready to go beyond

Responsibilities:

Subject matter expert on manufacturing processes including: equipment floor layouts work sequence work instructions procedures and work flow
Develop and improve standard work
Identify process improvements opportunities using analysis modeling benchmarking research etc.
Design layouts of equipment and workspace and improving process flow
Conduct studies on cost control productivity cost reduction inventory and production record systems
Provide measurable input into the sequence of operations and work instructions
Contribute to plans for allocation of resources materials and personnel to establish maximum utilization
Study product requirements and determine capital equipment and labor staffing to meet requirements.
Ability to work effectively with other engineers technicians operators and management
Conduct machine capacity analysis and identify/manage improvement initiatives to increase efficiency (OEE).
Understanding of capital acquisition process knowledge or background preferred
Working knowledge of product manufacturing / process technologies
Participating in and leading Kaizen events

Qualifications You Must Have:

Bachelors Degree in Industrial Engineering Manufacturing or Operations.
Typically requires a degree in Science Technology Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 3-5 years of prior relevant experience
Data mining & manipulation experience with Excel VBA SQL other methods.
US Citizenship is required due to government contracts.

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers as they are essential to the development of our engines.

The salary range for this role is 101000 USD - 203000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer including but not limited to the role function and associated responsibilities a candidates work experience location education/training and key skills.
