Research Audiologist
The Research Audiologist conducts clinical pre-validation and verification studies for new hearing aid products and features. This role supports Sonovas global research and development efforts by designing executing and analyzing studies that ensure product effectiveness and innovation. The Research Audiologist also collaborates closely with internal teams and external research partners to advance hearing science and contribute to the development of next-generation technologies.
Responsibilities:
Conduct pre-validation studies on new hearing aid features and technologies in alignment with the R&D research plan
Maintain study databases ensure regulatory compliance and analyze and report research findings
Collaborate with Sonovas global R&D Audiology and Marketing teams to support product innovation
Support the setup maintenance and improvement of research lab equipment and procedures
Present key study outcomes at scientific meetings and contribute to peer-reviewed publications
More about you:
- Masters degree or higher in Audiology Hearing or Communication Sciences
- Licensed Audiologist in Ontario (or eligibility for licensure)
- 1 years of experience in the hearing aid or related industry with hands-on fitting experience
- Strong data analysis communication and presentation skills
- Highly organized proactive and able to manage multiple projects collaboratively
