Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth were looking to add a/an Operations Manager located in Milpitas CA.

Reporting to the Director Operations Engineering the Operations manager will lead and optimize day-to-day operations across engineering manufacturing and business processes. This role will be instrumental in driving operational excellence improving efficiency and supporting strategic initiatives in a fast-paced high-tech environment.

What a typical day looks like:

  • Lead cross-functional teams to improve operational workflows reduce waste and enhance productivity. Collaborate with Engineering Supply Chain and Quality teams to ensure seamless execution of production and NPI programs.
  • Develop and implement process improvement strategies using Lean Six Sigma and other methodologies.
  • Monitor KPIs and operational metrics to ensure performance targets are met.
  • Manage resource planning capacity analysis and operational forecasting.
  • Support compliance with safety environmental and regulatory standards. Mentor and develop team members to build a high-performance culture.

The experience were looking to add to our team

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering Operations Management or related field (Masters preferred).
  • 7 years of experience in operations manufacturing or industrial engineering roles.
  • Proven leadership experience in a high-tech or advanced manufacturing environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Demonstrated experience working with electrical power distribution systems power monitoring systems AC/DC electrical power and the use of communication protocols. .
  • Knowledge and understanding of UL Standards such as UL67 Panelboards UL1008 Transfer Switch Equipment UL10008S Static Transfer Switches UL60950 Information Technology Equipment UL 891 Switchboards UL 1558 MetalEnclosed LowVoltage Power Circuit Breaker Switchgear as applicable as well as other pertinent standards.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems data analytics tools and continuous improvement frameworks.
