At Pet Care being part of Kin Vet Community offers numerous advantages. Kin Vet Community established in June 2023 is a vet-led collective of 19 veterinary practices in Essex Suffolk Hertfordshire Kent and Southwest London. We provide compassionate high-quality care for pets and their owners with a strong focus on providing collaborative support for our clinicians.
Pet Care is a well-established small animal practice based right on the river Thames in Southeast London with an experienced clinical team and loyal client base. Our OOH service is provided by nearby Vets Now. Were looking for a passionate and skilled Veterinary Surgeon with a medical bias to join our friendly practice. Within the practice youll have access to state-of-the-art facilities including digital x-ray a full dental suite and various diagnostic machines. Youll have access to an extensive network of practices and specialists for case referrals when necessary and work as part of 3 vet team so theyll be no sole charge responsibilities with this role.

About the Role:
In this role you will have the opportunity to provide exceptional care to a diverse range of patients supported by the Clinical Director and the resources and network of our wider veterinary community. Youll enjoy clinical autonomy but also benefit from being part of a larger well-established team with opportunities for collaboration knowledge sharing and career growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct 15-minute consultations with clients to assess their pets health and provide diagnosis and treatment.
- Advise clients on preventative care and long-term health management for their pets.
- Work collaboratively with a dedicated team of veterinary surgeons veterinary nurses and support staff to provide outstanding care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for all patients.
- Take part in group-wide initiatives including CPD training and best practice sharing.
- Work closely with the Clinical Director to ensure the practice consistently upholds the highest standards of care.
- Develop and nurture relationships with clients providing them with the information and support they need.
- Perform a range of surgical procedures from routine to emergency surgeries (based on your skillset).
