Job Summary
Job Title: Speech Language Pathologist
Responsible to: Director of Special Services Building Principal
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Communication Disorders.
- Master of Science in Speech Language Pathology.
Primary Functions:
Screening diagnosing and treating students with various communication disorders.
General Responsibilities:
Screenings; full speech and/or language evaluations if needed; writing and implementing Individualized Educational Programs (IEPs); and treatment.
Specific Duties:
- Develop schedules.
- Communicate with parents teachers and students.
- Prepare required reports (IEPs Evaluation Reports Medicaid and Student Progress).
Determine appropriate therapy approaches for each student.
