The Opportunity

Join the Gen AI Experiences team at Adobe Experience Platform crafting modern cloud-native services.

This role combines hands-on software development with architectural leadership. You will collaborate with global engineering product and AI/ML teams to deliver scalable systems that bring the power of Generative AI to marketing analytics and personalization use cases.

What Youll Do

Architect design and develop highly scalable low-latency microservices and APIs in Java to support AI-powered experiences.
Collaborate with data scientists and ML engineers to design and integrate AI/ML model orchestration and inference workflows.
Drive system design architecture reviews and performance optimization across distributed systems.
Partner with product management and UX teams to translate requirements into robust technical solutions.
Build cloud-native services using containerized and event-driven architectures (Docker Kubernetes Kafka Pub/Sub).
Implement guidelines for observability reliability and performance in production environments.
Mentor engineers foster technical excellence and contribute to architectural blueprints and design documentation.
Ensure security compliance and maintainability of all deployed services.

What You Need to Succeed

Bachelors or advanced degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field.
10 years of experience designing and developing large-scale distributed systems using Java and Spring Boot (or equivalent frameworks).
Strong foundation in algorithms data structures concurrency and performance engineering.
Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS Azure or GCP) and DevOps practices (CI/CD monitoring automation).
Experience with microservices API design (REST/gRPC) and data persistence (SQL NoSQL).
Exposure to AI/ML systems integration model serving or workflow orchestration.
Excellent debugging problem-solving and communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a global multi-functional environment.
Passion for innovation and a desire to shape how Generative AI transforms digital experiences.
