Position Summary

The Director of Patient Safety & Risk Management will provide strategic leadership for risk mitigation and patient safety initiatives across hospital operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead hospital-wide risk management programs incident investigations and safety reporting.
  • Partner with quality compliance and patient safety teams to implement preventive and corrective strategies.
  • Ensure survey readiness and adherence to regulatory and accreditation standards.
  • Analyze performance trends conduct root cause analyses and drive system-level improvements.
  • Educate and influence clinical leaders and staff to promote a proactive safety culture.

Qualifications

  • Active RN license or equivalent clinical/administrative healthcare leadership background.
  • Minimum 3 years of leadership experience in patient safety or risk management within an acute care setting.
  • Bachelors degree required; Masters degree strongly preferred.
