Position Summary
The Director of Patient Safety & Risk Management will provide strategic leadership for risk mitigation and patient safety initiatives across hospital operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead hospital-wide risk management programs incident investigations and safety reporting.
- Partner with quality compliance and patient safety teams to implement preventive and corrective strategies.
- Ensure survey readiness and adherence to regulatory and accreditation standards.
- Analyze performance trends conduct root cause analyses and drive system-level improvements.
- Educate and influence clinical leaders and staff to promote a proactive safety culture.
Qualifications
- Active RN license or equivalent clinical/administrative healthcare leadership background.
- Minimum 3 years of leadership experience in patient safety or risk management within an acute care setting.
- Bachelors degree required; Masters degree strongly preferred.
