Job Responsibilities
- Serve asthe Administrative Assistant in the Wardens Office.
- Communicates in person by telephone and through correspondence.
- Responds to complaints prepares letters memos and general correspondence for staff as required.
- Researches and compiles general and special reports.
- Supervises daily office schedule and inmates assigned to clean the area.
- Researches and responds to written and oral requests/complaints from inmates relatives friends attorneys local government and law enforcement officials.
- Assists with special projects audits etc.
- Coordinates and attends staff meetings.
- Use ofpersonal computers required.
- Performs and assists with other related duties for the institution staff and inmates.
Must successfully complete four (4) weeks of SCDC basic training upon hire.

State of South Carolina Minimum Requirements:
A high school diploma and work experience that is directly related to the area of employment. A bachelors degree may be substituted for the related work experience.
SCDC Minimum Requirements:
(Or an acceptable equivalency as approved by the Division of State Human Resources).
