Job Summary
Beacon Charter High School for the Arts is seeking an energetic and creative Theater Director to lead our winter production. The director will be responsible for selecting or collaborating on show selection casting scheduling and directing student performers in all aspects of production. This role offers an opportunity to inspire young artists foster teamwork and build confidence and creativity through Responsibilities:Direct and oversee all aspects of the winter theater production from auditions to final with school staff technical crew and parent volunteers on set design costumes lighting and and run rehearsals after school hours maintaining a positive structured and supportive student growth inclusion and appreciation for the performing with administration to ensure compliance with school policies and performance :Experience directing or assistant directing theater productions (school or community level)Strong organizational communication and leadership skillsAbility to work effectively with high school students and collaborate with staff and volunteersBachelors degree in theater education or a related field preferred (or equivalent professional experience)
