Job Duties
This individual will analyze investigate and prosecute suspected violations of the new Consumer Data Protection Act the Virginia Consumer Protection Act and other state and federal consumer privacy addition the individual will have secondary responsibility for analyzing investigating and prosecuting violations of other state and federal consumer protection laws as needed. Must have excellent writing skills and be prepared to appear in the appropriate state or federal court in actions filed against alleged violators. Will also work with counterparts in other states and federal agencies assist in drafting official opinions and review proposed legislation.

International Association of Privacy Professionals Certified Information Privacy Professional/United States (CIPP/US) certification is desired and can be obtained after employment.
