Job Duties

Extract data from legacy systems (e.g. previous EHRs ancillary systems) and prepare for migration into Epic

Map legacy data fields to Epic data structures working with functional analysts in Epic application modules.

Develop and execute data conversion test scripts support integrated system testing (IST) and user acceptance testing (UAT).

Perform data validation and reconciliation: ensure converted data within Epic matches legacy data properly transferred accurate.

Assist with goâlive cutover planning for data conversion work with teams to remediate post-go-live conversion issues.

Document conversion logic mappings and results; work with audit/tracking and compliance teams (HIPAA data governance).

Provide support/troubleshooting for conversion tools interfaces or bridges as needed (often in collaboration with interface/integration teams).

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelors degree (Health Informatics Computer Science Information Systems) or equivalent experience.

Prior experience in healthcare data migration/conversion projects (preferably Epic).

Strong SQL/ETL/analytics skills understanding of healthcare data standards.

Excellent crossâfunctional communication skills ability to liaise between clinical operations and IT/data teams.
Preferred:

Epic certification or training in Epic conversion tools or modules.

Experience in hospital environment (clinical billing registration ancillaries).

Familiarity with Epic modules (e.g. Chronicles Clarity Bridges/Interfaces) and data flows.
Reporting/Team Context:
Typically reports to the Epic Applications Lead or Epic Project Manager; often part of the Epic implementation team may interface with data management IS project offices clinical informatics.

Salary commensurate with experience within posted range.

$85000- $110000/ Year
