About the team
The Merchant Health Experience Teams mission is to provide Stripes Enterprise customers with personalized real-time and actionable data and insights on the health status and performance of their Stripes accounts Stripes systems and services and Stripes network partners. The team owns Stripes health alert infrastructure and machine learning models to support real-time alerting dashboards actionable insights and service performance reports.
What you will do
- Recruit coach and develop a team of exceptional engineers.
- Lead the development of Stripes health alerts extending their reach to cover a wider array of Stripes product areas and users.
- Cultivating a culture of engineering excellence innovation and continuous improvement
- Drive your engineering team towards exceptional technical quality reliability scalability and operational excellence.
- Provide hands-on technical leadership to your engineering team across multiple areas including architecture design code reviews quality assurance and incident management.
Minimum requirements
- 8 years of professional hands-on software development experience
- 4 years of experience leading software engineering teams
- Hands-on experience designing and building large scale distributed systems
- A track record of managing and mentoring junior and senior engineers
- Customer obsession ability to articulate and represent customer experience in various forums to drive the right outcome that benefits our customers.
- A track record of attracting and hiring top talents and growing teams
- Demonstrated ability of defining & driving complex initiatives/projects across multiple teams
- Proven success with cross-discipline and cross-team collaborations.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience building and operating highly-scalable data-intensive services.
- Experience building and operating observability solutions such designing/building telemetry collections data transport and storage solutions and anomaly detection driven by machine learning models.
