Role Purpose

To assist in planning training and deploying Venue Supervisors and Staff for Test Day operations ensuring accurate resource availability capability and contingency. The role leverages technology for timely duty scheduling supports workforce and retention planning and monitors performance while reporting any issues or trends to management.

Role Accountabilities

Manage the planning scheduling training and deployment of Venue Supervisors and staff to ensure smooth test day operations. Oversee staff performance payment recruitment and compliance with safeguarding and exam security standards. Communicate effectively with staff and stakeholders manage logistics support contingency and risk planning and maintain accurate reporting and analysis of staff utilization. Motivate and guide the team while ensuring adherence to operational financial and safeguarding processes.

Role specific skills knowledge and experience

As part of the requirement the candidate must demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills efficient management abilities and flexibility to work during unofficial hours and weekends. They should be capable of handling pressure meeting deadlines multitasking and managing large volumes of data effectively. Proficiency in MS Excel Word Survey Monkey and MS Forms along with adaptability to various software and systems is essential.

Experience working with databases and systems particularly in an exams environment managing non-permanent resources and using scheduling software is desirable. Familiarity with British Council EDI and recruitment standards as well as strong knowledge of child protection child development safeguarding practices confidentiality and secure handling of information is required with the ability to promote the safety and well-being of children and deliver safe well-organized activities for them.

Further Information

Language: Strong English proficiency is crucial for this role requiring fluency in both written and spoken communication to effectively navigate British Council systems and international operations.

Education: A masters degree or a bachelors degree in any subject.

Locally recruited: Applications are welcomed from candidates currently in this location with a natural right to work. Relocation support is not provided.
