Job Summary
Introduction
A leading healthcare facility in Limpopo seeks an experienced Infection Prevention and Control Manager to drive best practices in infection prevention and ensure compliance with all healthcare standards and accreditation requirements.
Desired Experience & Qualification
Requirements:
- Registered Nurse with the South African Nursing Council (SANC)
- Diploma in General Nursing / BCur Degree or equivalent NQF 7 qualification
- Post-basic qualification in Infection Prevention and Control (or eligibility to complete)
- Minimum 5 years of clinical nursing experience with at least 2 years in an IPC management role
- Prior experience in infection prevention and control advantageous
- Knowledge of occupational health protocols infection surveillance and compliance standards
- Ability to implement audit and sustain infection control practices and policies
- Skilled in tracking and managing occupational health incidents
- Strong analytical leadership and communication skills
- Proficiency in budget management data reporting and performance improvement initiatives
