Description
We are looking for warm flexible and dependable Substitute Teachers Aides to support our Early Education classrooms on an as-needed basis. Substitute aides step in when regular staff are absent helping maintain a consistent nurturing and engaging environment where children feel safe and supported.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the lead teacher and classroom team in caring for and supervising children ages 35.
- Follow the established classroom routines and daily schedule.
- Engage children in play learning activities and transitions.
- Support with basic needs such as toileting meals and rest time.
- Maintain classroom safety cleanliness and order throughout the day.
- Communicate with staff and children in a positive and respectful manner.
- Be flexible and ready to work in different classrooms as needed.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent (required) BS in Elementary Ed Early Childhood Education or any other field preferred
- Previous experience working with young children
- Reliable and able to respond to last-minute calls or scheduling needs.
- Friendly patient and adaptable to different teaching styles and environments.
- Must meet state childcare licensing requirements including background checks and health clearances.

- Has a strong reputation exemplified by passion and consistency that students want to emulate and parents respect.
- Proactively seeks ways to improve how the school presents itself from a Christian perspective.
- Born again believer who exhibits the Fruit of the Spirit in their daily walk
- Regular attendee and supporter of a church whose fundamental beliefs are evangelical in nature
