Customer Service Specialist I- Fire Alarm Install
Full Time M-F 1st Shift
Job Responsibilities:
- Keep company software systems up to date
- Assist Coordinators with work orders for Inventory and Billing
- Maintains regular contact with customers to provide periodic scheduling updates
- Back up Coordinators when on PTO
- Ensure all necessary documentation (permits certifications) for fire alarm final inspections are in place
- Attend weekly job meetings with the sales department
- Work with the Billing department on job progression and completion dates including job costing
- Work with Project Managers Schedulers and sales on all projects
- Prioritize upcoming jobs via email requests and sales interactions
- Work with the Compliance department on any paperwork that needs to be uploaded
- Perform routine clerical duties within fast-paced department while adhering to established standards
- Coordinate internal and external resources to expedite workflow
- Update production spreadsheets in Excel
Job Requirements:
- HS Diploma or equivalent
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word Excel Outlook)
- Ability to work in computer based construction software
- Must be organized and professional
- Good verbal communication written communication and listening skills
- Data entry with an eye for accuracy
- This role takes place in an office environment with regular use of phone computer. Walking bending standing and sitting are typical of this role.
This role pays hourly based on experience with a target range of $22-23/hour.
