What You Will Do:
As a Renewable Community Planner Intern you will support our community planning and renewable energy team in delivering thoughtful planning solutions for renewable energy projects. Your responsibilities may include:

• Collecting analyzing and interpreting data related to land use renewable energy siting and community impact.
• Assisting with the review of land use applications and permits for renewable energy projects.
• Supporting preparation of staff reports plans and ordinance documentation.
• Assisting with community engagement efforts including meetings presentations and outreach materials.
• Supporting code/zoning research and compliance efforts related to renewable energy projects.
• Contributing to other planning and renewable energy project tasks as assigned.

What You Will Bring:

• Currently enrolled in a four-year program in urban planning community planning or a related field.
• Interest in renewable energy land use planning and sustainable community development.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills including report preparation and presentations.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams clients and community stakeholders.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Minimum GPA of 3.4 preferred.
• A valid drivers license and clean driving record is preferred.
• Positive attitude strong work ethic and eagerness to learn in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
