Job Description

Be part of a team that values your development offers resources and enables meaningful contributions. This position supports the Fill/Finish department.

Responsibilities

  • Work within a manufacturing environment both individually and within a team to ensure customers receive products that exceed quality specifications.
  • Work in both standard and clean room environments while adhering to area-specific PPE requirements.
  • Safely operate manual and automated filling equipment.
  • Assemble kit components.
  • Safely operate pallet jacks.
  • Handle materials that are in temperature-sensitive conditions following established guidelines and protocols.
  • Perform cleaning of production areas and equipment.
  • Communicate with several work groups to ensure the completion of daily production.
  • Successfully complete Thermo Fisher Scientific training requirements on time and operate within all ISO GMP and FDA standards pertaining to Frederick Site Manufacturing Operations.
  • May need to act as a work-order lead.
  • May be required to perform other related duties as required and/or assigned.

Skills and Abilities

  • Ability to consistently and autonomously adhere to policies and procedures guidelines and meet production timelines.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
  • Proficient verbal and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of the metric system and ability to perform conversions.

Education and Experience

Required:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Preferred:

  • Associates degree in biology chemistry engineering or related field
  • Experience in GMP ISO or FDA-regulated environments
  • Experience operating automated equipment

The hourly pay range estimated for this position based in Maryland is $16.78$27.96.
