Job Description
Be part of a team that values your development offers resources and enables meaningful contributions. This position supports the Fill/Finish department.
Responsibilities
- Work within a manufacturing environment both individually and within a team to ensure customers receive products that exceed quality specifications.
- Work in both standard and clean room environments while adhering to area-specific PPE requirements.
- Safely operate manual and automated filling equipment.
- Assemble kit components.
- Safely operate pallet jacks.
- Handle materials that are in temperature-sensitive conditions following established guidelines and protocols.
- Perform cleaning of production areas and equipment.
- Communicate with several work groups to ensure the completion of daily production.
- Successfully complete Thermo Fisher Scientific training requirements on time and operate within all ISO GMP and FDA standards pertaining to Frederick Site Manufacturing Operations.
- May need to act as a work-order lead.
- May be required to perform other related duties as required and/or assigned.
Skills and Abilities
- Ability to consistently and autonomously adhere to policies and procedures guidelines and meet production timelines.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
- Proficient verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of the metric system and ability to perform conversions.
Education and Experience
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred:
- Associates degree in biology chemistry engineering or related field
- Experience in GMP ISO or FDA-regulated environments
- Experience operating automated equipment
