Job Summary

They use software to create blueprints and work with a variety of stakeholders to complete projects.
Key responsibilities
Planning and Design: Develop blueprints designs and specifications for projects using computer modeling and data from site surveys.
Project Management: Manage project timelines budgets and resources; coordinate with project managers contractors and other stakeholders.
Site Supervision: Conduct site investigations monitor construction progress and perform inspections to ensure work adheres to plans and safety regulations.
Analysis and Reporting: Perform feasibility studies environmental impact assessments and prepare technical reports and documentation.
Compliance and Safety: Ensure all projects comply with local state and federal regulations and that safety measures are implemented throughout the project lifecycle.
Problem-Solving: Troubleshoot issues that arise during the design or construction phases.
