The Opportunity
The Trailblazer for Recycling and Clean Energy (TRaCE) was awarded to the University of New South Wales (UNSW) and the University of Newcastle (UoN) to boost research and development and drive commercialisation outcomes with industry.
As part of the TRaCE team and in close collaboration with the R&D Portfolio Commercial Lead Chief Investigators and UNSW shared services you will be responsible for hands-on management of academic research project contracts to ensure compliance with time cost and scope requirements as well as reporting obligations invoicing and ad-hoc information requests to help deliver a smooth and positive experience for industry partners.
Reporting to the Senior Research & Development Portfolio Manager this role will suit an individual with a demonstrated ability to develop and manage contracts effectively including defining scope and costs managing progress claims approving invoices negotiating contract variations resolving disputes and achieving strong commercial outcomes.
