In the role of Finance & Market Price Risk Management Summer Intern you will support Enbridges Treasury team in a variety of ways including economic & market data analysis market price risk assessments and an excellent job for people who are studying Finance.

Placement Details:

This is a 4-month paid summer internship starting in May 2025 located in Calgary AB.

What you will do:

  • Support market price risk assessment and mitigation related to foreign exchange interest rates and commodity price risk.
  • Monitor economic releases and trends to support forecasting and decision making related to market prices.
  • Contribute to regular team reporting on market levels and hedging activities including use of Bloomberg terminal data.
  • Provide support to other areas of Treasury & Enterprise Risk department as needed.

Who you are:

  • You are currently enrolled in a full time post-secondary program studying Business Finance or equivalent and will be returning to full time school immediately following the work term.
  • Experience with Bloomberg Professional software (Bloomberg Terminal) will be considered an asset.
  • Experience with Power BI will be considered an asset
  • Youre curious about Generative AI and eager to explore its potential.
  • Effective and professional communication both verbal and written with ability to communicate with all levels within the organization.
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently.
  • Effective time management and organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Solid computer skills and experience using MS Office Suite (Excel Word PowerPoint Outlook).
  • Ability to actively and consistently represent Enbridges core values (Safety Integrity Respect Inclusion High Performance).

Working Conditions:

  • Office-based role located in Calgary AB
  • Relocation assistance is not provided.
