Job Summary
Cross-Categorical Special Education Teacher (K1)
Illinois Full-Time Full School Year
Were hiring a compassionate Special Education Teacher to lead a K1 Cross-Categorical instructional classroom with a caseload of approximately 10 students. This full-time position is ideal for an educator who thrives in a collaborative environment and is passionate about supporting diverse learners.
In this role youll create a safe and engaging space where young learners can grow academically socially and emotionally. Youll design lessons that meet each childs unique needs celebrate their strengths and build essential skills for lifelong learning. Collaboration is key youll partner with paraprofessionals therapists and families to provide holistic student-centered support.
Requirements
- Illinois PEL with LBS1 endorsement.
- Bachelors or Masters in Special Education.
- Experience in instructional or self-contained settings preferred.
