We are seeking a Director of Finance to lead the accounting and financial operations strengthen internal systems and build the infrastructure needed to support continued growth and scalability.
The Opportunity
The Director of Finance will oversee all accounting reporting and financial management across a diverse real estate portfolio. This leader will manage a skilled accounting team and be responsible for implementing processes that improve accuracy efficiency and scalability.
The role requires a proactive detail-oriented professional with experience building teams developing systems and partnering closely with ownership on financial strategy and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
Accounting & Financial Management
Oversee all accounting functions including AP AR general ledger and month-end close.
Manage consolidated financial reporting across multiple entities and properties.
Implement scalable accounting systems controls and workflows.
Ensure accuracy timeliness and compliance with company standards.
Coordinate annual audits and tax filings with external advisors.
Team Leadership & Development
Lead and mentor a 56 person accounting team ensuring accountability and professional growth.
Define roles structure and priorities to align with company goals.
Foster a culture of collaboration clarity and process improvement.
Strategic Finance
Partner with ownership on forecasting budgeting and financial planning.
Support due diligence integration and reporting for new property acquisitions.
Identify opportunities to enhance profitability and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance.
Proven success building and leading accounting teams.
Hands-on leader with a proactive problem-solving mindset.
