Job Title: Accounting Clerk

Location: Onsite; Dallas TX

Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accounting Clerk to support our accounting and finance team. The ideal candidate will assist with day-to-day financial transactions ensure accuracy in record-keeping and maintain compliance with company and accounting policies. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with numbers has strong organizational skills and thrives in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process and verify daily accounting transactions including accounts payable (A/P) and accounts receivable (A/R).
  • Prepare review and reconcile invoices expense reports and purchase orders.
  • Enter and maintain financial data in accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks SAP NetSuite etc.).
  • Assist with bank deposits account reconciliations and monthly financial reporting.
  • Support payroll preparation and related record-keeping as needed.
  • Maintain filing systems for financial documents in accordance with company policies.
  • Assist with end-of-month and end-of-year close processes.
  • Respond to vendor and internal inquiries regarding billing payments or account discrepancies.
  • Perform general administrative support for the accounting department.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associates degree in Accounting Finance or related field preferred.
  • 1-3 years of experience in accounting bookkeeping or related clerical role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks SAP or similar).
  • Strong attention to detail accuracy and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and time-management abilities.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with data entry invoice processing and reconciliations.
  • Basic understanding of GAAP principles.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
