Supplier Development Engineer

As a Supplier Development Engineer within ourPropeller Systemsbusiness you will play a key role in evaluating and supporting suppliers to meet our production and quality standards. You will work proactively to guide suppliers in fulfilling our technical requirements and specifications acting as a trusted link between internal stakeholders and external partners.

Key responsibilities:

• Conduct supplier visits to perform pre-delivery inspections and manage quality deviations.
• Lead and coordinate improvement initiatives with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Handle deviations using structured problem-solving tools such as 8D PFMEA and Fishbone diagrams.
• Participate in claims handling processes when required.
• Drive preventive actions especially within Source and Method Change projects ensuring that new suppliers meet company quality standards.
• Contribute to internal investigations aimed at improving and streamlining organizational processes.

Qualifications and experience

• A bachelors degree or equivalent with a solid general technical understanding
• Experience from production or field service is considered an advantage
• Background or familiarity with metallurgy is highly valued
• Excellent communication skills in English both written and spoken. Additional language skills are considered a plus
• Willingness to travel internationally.
