About the Role

We are looking for a highly organized and technically proficient Release Leadto manage General Availability (GA) releasesand other changes across environments. In this role you will be responsible for coordinating cross-functional teams overseeing cloud-native deployments and ensuring smooth high-quality product releases.

A Day in the Life

• Own the full release lifecycle: planning coordination execution and post-release monitoring
• Maintain detailed release schedules calendars and Go/No-Go checklists.
• Partner closely with Product Management Engineering QA DevOps and Support teams to ensure delivery alignment.
• Oversee release workflows in Kubernetes environments including helm chart packaging manifest management rollout strategies and deployment verification
• Manage key aspects of releases and changes throughout their life cycle including production fixes BAU mandatory projects and large technology change events.
• Perform deployment analysis and schedule deployment tasks creating consolidated implementation plans for approved changes.
• Analyze risks associated with change events and determine mitigation strategies.
• Handle issues and risks during the change window and engage right stakeholders as required.
• Perform post release evaluations and retrospectives to address issues ensure closure of action items and share findings with comprehensive reporting

What You Need

• 8 to 10 years in release management DevOps or related roles
• Proficient in fostering agreement and driving solutions through effective communication.
• Able to own and drive key projects to completion and deliver business outcomes.
• Have strong understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working within Agile frameworks.
• Familiar with modern software development practices DevOps principles and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with Jira Confluence or other ITSM tools.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills both written and verbal
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to coordinate and prioritize effectively
• Understanding of Kubernetes based deployment
