Position Overview:

The Treasury Operations Support Professional will be a member of the Wireroom within the Treasury Operations group within the Investment and Capital Markets Division in McLean VA. The position primarily supports the timely and accurate processing and reporting of funds and security wires and plays an important role in reducing payment risk.

Our Impact:

Treasury Operations is responsible for ensuring that cash activity is processed in accordance with regulatory and corporate guidelines for the entire company. Investments and Capital Markets is responsible for handling our mortgage-related investments portfolio single-family securitization activities and treasury function.

Your Impact:

Responsibilities include:

  • Daily processing of cash/securities wires as well as ACH in support of the firms business lines.

  • Completing reconciliations with banks and clearing firms along with same-day corrections additions and deletions.

  • Developing modifying and executing departmental controls and procedures that affect cash and security processing.

Qualifications:

  • College Degree and/or equivalent experience

  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with extensive use of Excel

  • Banking and Financial industry knowledge NACHA processes/rules

  • Understanding of the Federal Reserve payment systems

  • Demonstrated strong data and analytical skills

This position has an annualized market-based salary range of $75000 - $113000 and is eligible to participate in the annual incentive program. The final salary offered will generally fall within this range and is dependent on various factors including but not limited to the responsibilities of the position experience skill set internal pay equity and other relevant qualifications of the applicant.
