Job Summary

Job Title: Physical Therapist
Location: Montour Falls NY
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Days 8 Hours (Monday to Friday 40 hours per week)

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist to join a reputable healthcare facility in Montour Falls NY. The Physical Therapist will evaluate plan and implement individualized therapy programs to help patients restore function improve mobility and manage pain. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong clinical skills empathy and professionalism in patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

Assess patients physical psychological emotional and educational needs through evaluation and observation.
Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on physician prescriptions or referrals.
Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to enhance mobility strength coordination and endurance.
Educate patients and families on therapy goals exercises and home care techniques.
Document all treatments progress and patient responses accurately in accordance with facility standards.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Participate in community education and wellness programs as needed.

Requirements:

Active New York State Physical Therapy License (required).
Minimum 2 years of professional experience in physical therapy (travel experience preferred but not required).
Strong communication organizational and patient care skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team.
