Join a dynamic litigation team where deep thinking strategic arguments and clean writing matter as much as courtroom savvy. Our client a highly regarded firm in the Los Angeles area seeks a mid-level Associate who takes pride in transforming complex facts into clear winning narratives.

About the Firm:

Youll be part of a collegial group of trial-focused lawyers specializing in civil and probate litigation. The practice covers general liability defense professional liability trust & estate disputes appeals and more. What Youll Do:

Take ownership of meaningful case segments in partnership with senior litigators
Draft argue and brief motions (dispositive and nondispositive)
Manage and respond to written discovery; take and defend depositions
Litigate through trial working directly with clients experts and opposing counsel
Handle matters in civil litigation and probate/trust litigation including:
General liability defense professional liability fee disputes breach of contract business torts
Probate administration will contests breach of fiduciary duty claims conservatorships

Who Were Looking For:

A J.D. and active membership of the California bar
Litigation experience (civil and/or probate) that includes motion practice depositions discovery and case strategy
Excellent writing and research skills sound judgment strong organization (clean files crisp timelines zero missed deadlines)
A calm collaborative mindset an interest in building systems spotting edge issues shipping high-quality work
Bonus: experience in professional liability or insurance defense

Base salary at $150000 for a 1750 billable hour minimum
