- Previous experience in product marketing and/or product management roles including at least one entire product development cycle from concept to launch.
- Proven track record working collaboratively and effectively with cross-functional teams; this includes partnering with engineering during early research and development to define product strategy and roadmap and with marketing and public relations to craft positioning and define marketing activities
- Proven track record formulating product messaging and creating outbound marketing for both technical and consumer audiences; experience translating complex technology into powerful messaging for varied audiences including consumers media analysts and leading industry specialists
- Deep understanding of the product and relevant technology domains
- Best-in-class oral and written communication skills; the ability to become fluent in technical concepts and explain to non-technical partners
- Strong ability to lead through influence debate and storytelling
- Exceptional interpersonal skills; thrives in highly collaborative projects effective at building consensus handles high stakes decisions with ease with the ability to cut through ambiguity
- Strong analytical abilities and an uncompromising attention to detail with the ability to operate seamlessly between highly detailed and technical situations and strategic business situations
- A self-starter who is dedicated and demonstrates creative and critical thinking abilities
- Press and media experience with success as a product spokesperson on a national or global level
- BS/BA and/or MBA
