JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS

The Richards Civil War Era Center in the College of Liberal Arts is seeking applicants for part time education program specialist for the Center and the Catto-LeCount Fellows Program.

Job duties include:

  • Develop programming for yearly Catto-LeCount Fellows Program
  • Cooperate with History Department in organizing Catto-LeCount Fellows Program
  • Mentor undergraduate and graduate students involved with Fellows Program
  • Maintain network of fellows through quarterly outreach efforts
  • Develop connections with other Fellows Program organizations

Requirements qualifications and/or competencies:

  • PhD in history preferred
  • Experience working with undergraduate students
  • Exceptional communication and organizational skills
  • Experience and skills working collaboratively with multiple partners
  • Self-motivated and self-starter who needs little direction
  • Mentoring experience
