Position Details:

Datrose is seeking a Forklift Operator / Material Handler for a one-year contract position with a possibility of being temp to hire.

Location: East Rochester NY (Near Penfield)

Work Hours: 6am-2:30pm Monday-Friday

Pay Rate:$19.00/hr

Who Were Looking For:

Candidates with Forklift Certification to work in an industrial/warehouse environment. Experience should include picking stock using handheld scanners loading and unloading materials. A team player with good communication skills and a mind for safety. Veterans are encouraged to apply.

What to Expect as a Forklift Operator:

Perform various manual activities under minimal/direct supervision
Picking stock
Light manufacturing
Building pallets for shipment
Loading and unloading materials
Ordering storing and delivering supplies
Using hand scanners
Heavy lifting up to 70 lbs.
Work in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications for Success:

High School Diploma or GED/HSE OR 2 years of warehouse experience required
Fork Truck License required
Need steel toe safety shoes
Basic mathematic skills
Prior Warehouse/Dock experience
Detail oriented with time management skills
Must have knowledge of Microsoft office specifically Word and basic Excel and Outlook
SAP knowledge is preferred
