Job Summary

Job Title: Personal Care Assistant (PCA)
Location: Leesburg VA 20176
Schedule: Monday Friday 7:45 AM 3:00 PM
Contract Duration: 34 Weeks
Pay Rate: $20 $25/hr

Position Overview:

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking Personal Care Assistantfor an exciting job in Leesburg VA.

Responsibilities:

Assist students with personal care needs including toileting feeding dressing and hygiene.
Support students during classroom activities transitions and mobility throughout the school day.
Implement accommodations and behavior support plans as outlined in students Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
Ensure student safety and supervision in all school settings including classrooms hallways lunch and recess.
Provide assistance with lifting positioning and operating mobility equipment as needed.
Document observations incidents and progress following school procedures.
Collaborate with teachers therapists and support staff to promote student independence and inclusion.
Maintain confidentiality and comply with all school district and state regulations.
Participate in meetings training sessions and professional development as required.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED required.
Previous experience working with children or individuals with disabilities preferred.
Ability to perform physical care tasks and follow medical or behavioral care plans.
Strong communication patience and teamwork skills.

Work Environment:

School-based setting (Grades 68).
Requires regular standing walking lifting and hands-on engagement with students.
