Job Summary

Position Summary

The Analyst I Systems develops maintains and improves applications and systems used by students staff and faculty across the this hands-on role the Analyst responds to day-to-day requests helping to resolve a variety of complex issues and applies knowledge and expertise to long term application related projects.

The incumbent values both team success and individual achievement and champions a culture of continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Diploma in computer programming web technology or related technical field from a recognized post secondary institution.
  • Minimum of four (4) years of experience in programming and Application Interfaces preferably in a web environment.
  • Knowledge of database principals and APIs (Application Programming Interfaces) is required.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and use of SQL is required.
  • Ability to work effectively as a member of a team.
  • Ability to proactively provide communication and customer service to users vendors and other key stakeholders.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
  • Job duties may be rescheduled on short or limited notice due to IT emergencies.
