Job Summary
Overview
This team supports cross industry clients. You will be part of a talented cross-functional team of dynamic and passionate consultants and project managers to deliver solutions that enable our customers to make a difference in communities around the world. You will be part of a delivery team that implements critical technologies that improve quality reliability and accessibility to data and geospatial capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Translate client needs into practical GIS-driven solutions using Esris enterprise technology
- Develop multi-year GIS implementation and migration strategies
- Gather and present client requirements and workflows to create actionable strategies and plans
- Analyze business and technical challenges to design manageable effective solutions
- Provide expert guidance on GIS and AI technologies
- Lead project teams through all phases: requirements analysis design build and rollout
- Oversee scope cost schedule and deliverables using planning tracking QA change control and risk management
- Manage projects from small technical engagements to large-scale enterprise implementations
- Maintain client relationships manage expectations and coordinate subcontractors
- Collaborate with Esris marketing and sales teams to support business development
Requirements
- 8 years of significant proven experience applying GIS technology to help solve to help meet customer requirements
- Experience with Esri products to solve complex business problems
- Familiarity with RDBMS and geodatabase design techniques and concepts
- Knowledge of software development methodologies
- Ability to develop project designs work plans budgets and schedules
- Experience with desktop client/server and Internet applications and architecture
- Excellent interpersonal writing presentation and leadership skills
- Bachelors in information systems GIS computer science or a relevant field

Recommended Qualifications
- Experience of Artificial Intelligence technology and generative AI
- Experience with ArcGIS location-based services geo-enabled apps spatial analysis or similar geospatial technology
- GIS Project Management experience
- Knowledge of and experience with software engineering and/or robust application development principles and practices
- Experience with current technology implementation patterns including service-oriented and cloud computing architecture
