Your New Role
As a key contributor to the Warner Bros. Discovery Revenue Accounting team you will report to the Revenue Accounting Manager and support the revenue accounting function across WBD EMEA Networks.
The Revenue Accounting Team is responsible for all aspects of revenue accounting for the EMEA region including standard and non-standard deals. Acting as one team our goal is to deliver effective holistic and compliant revenue accounting services to meet the needs of both global WBD Management and external stakeholders.
In this role youll apply your strong understanding of IFRS and US GAAP to ensure accurate revenue recognition. Youll manage the end-to-end processfrom contract analysis to preparing and reviewing adjustmentsand play a key role in improving processes and driving results.

Your Role Accountabilities
Analyze contracts propose guidance to determine proper revenue recognition in line with regulations and company policies.
Prepare monthly revenue accrual calculations entries to the general ledger and balance sheet account reconciliations to ensure accuracy.
Calculate and maintain the Current Expected Credit Loss (CECL) reserve including data analysis modeling inputs and coordination with relevant stakeholders.
Propose improvements and automation of daily/monthly standard tasks in revenue (accounting) processes and workflows.
Assist in internal and external audit work (Sox testing maintenance and updating of internal controls Financial Compliance processes).
Prepare periodical management reports BS Flux and SEC schedules including applicable regular revenue-related analyses and metrics as well as ad hoc reporting.
Initiate cross department meetings prepare agendas document and track action items. Escalate issues as appropriate.
Perform special or routine projects generate ad hoc analysis or duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelors or masters degree in accounting or finance
Proven experience in accounting within an international environment preferably with a focus on revenue recognition
BIG4 experience is an advantage
ACCA CPA or local equivalent certification is a plus
Strong understanding of IFRS and/or US GAAP especially revenue recognition standards
Excellent analytical skills and critical thinking
Fluent in English (written and spoken)
Proficiency in MS Excel; SAP experience is a strong plus
