What will you do in this role
Acquisition through communication with the Sales Manager Head of Solution Development Concepting Consultant Customer of all required information / data to design a suitable solution.
Occasionally attending site visits to better understand the customer requirements and site conditions.
Development of 3D models and 2D drawings to create a winning solution either under the direction of the Sale Manager or Customer.
Application of core standard solutions and sub modules (for example RapidPick RapidPut ML MS ASRS Rack Mezzanines) in order to create suitable solutions to meet the customer requirements.
Creation population and maintaining of the project Equipment Lists for use in costing and planning of solutions.
Working with suppliers to develop specifications for 3rd party equipment to complete solutions and establish prices for any sub contracted items.
Work with Dematic Product Centres to ensure correct product application.
Use Dematic product application tools to generate equipment lists and base costings.
Support the Sales Manager in the creation of graphical elements of the sales presentations and offer document such as 3D images and video files images reference material and specifications.
Occasionally attending customer presentations and providing the required level of technical input to the discussions.
Mentoring of more junior or less experienced Solution Consultants.
What are we looking for
Extensive experience as Solution Consultant or similar role.
Proven experience of developing suitable material handling solutions.
Educated to degree level (Bachelors degree or higher) in Engineering or similar discipline.
Advanced experience with Autocad / Sketch Up Pro / Rendering package as well as Excel & PowerPoint based application tools.
Proven experience of developing and supporting solution development presentations.
Arranging and conducting Engineering / Implementation / Health & Safety reviews with the Sales Manager (and independently).
Customer-focused mindset with strong communication skills openness to change and a continuous improvement approach to deliver effective and innovative solutions.
Strong initiative and results orientation with the ability to lead through collaboration influence others and drive successful outcomes.
