The Front Desk Agent acts as an ambassador for the hotel; providing a warm and personal welcome upon arrival any assistance needed throughout the guests stay and settling accounts accurately upon departure.
What you will be doing:
- Serve as an ambassador of the hotel delivering a warm professional welcome and farewell that reflects Fairmonts Service Promise and Values.
- Provide attentive personalized service by responding promptly to guest requests coordinating with other departments and ensuring follow-up.
- Manage check-in check-out and billing processes accurately while maintaining up-to-date guest accounts and records.
- Handle reservations bookings and special requests efficiently to optimize guest satisfaction and hotel revenue.
- Promote Fairmonts loyalty programs and contribute to rate and RevPAR growth through effective upselling.
- Uphold all Front Office Health & Safety and environmental standards to ensure a safe sustainable and exceptional guest experience.
Qualifications :
- Ability to work in an ever-changing and often busy environment
- Must be self-motivating a team player and have a high level of guest service orientation
- Must have excellent verbal comprehensive & written English communication skills
- Must have a professional attitude along with impeccable presentation
- Highly organized with the ability to be flexible with work hours and days off
- Strong computer knowledge. Knowledge of Opera Property Manager an asset
- Previous Hotel Front Office experience an asse
- Post secondary diploma in a Hospitality Management Program an asse
- Fluency in a second language as it relates to the hospitality industry is an asset
