We are a not-for-profit community-based organisation providing education and care to children from birth to 12 years of age across Tasmania. Learn more about role:

As a Service Support Officer youll be essential part of our Battery Point servicedelivering exceptional customer service managing bookings and accounts and supporting service managers and families.

  • Part Time (Thursday and Friday 08:00 17:00)
  • Battery Point

In this role you will:

  • Monitoring and answering phone calls which includes responding to queries or referring to the appropriate area
  • Manage enrolments bookings and waitlists
  • Provide guidance on Child Care Subsidy (CCS) application.
  • Generate reports and support other service support officers
  • Process invoices payments and family statements
  • Developing and refining processes and systems to increase efficiency while ensuring compliance.

What youll bring:

  • Experienced in administration and accounts
  • Professional and friendly customer service skills
  • Excellent IT skills with the ability to learn new systems quickly and intermediate level of expertise with Outlook Excel and Word and uses efficiently
  • Demonstrated professional written and verbal communication style
  • Able to manage competing priorities fast-paced environment
  • A current Working with Vulnerable People Card (or ability to obtain) (child-related activity childcare services)
