Please note that this position is a hybrid role with three days per week required in our downtown Detroit office.
What can you expect
- Contribute to software development projects with a strong focus ondata manipulation automation and system integrationusingPython.
- Support the design and implementation ofembedded and system-level software componentsinC and C.
- Assistin creating data pipelines processing frameworks and simulation tools to enable efficient engineering workflows.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate system and hardware requirements into robust software architectures.
- Participate in theanalysis debugging and optimizationof software for performance scalability and reliability.
- Support internal tool development to automate engineering tasks and streamline client delivery.
- Engage in technical discussions documentation and client workshops toalign onproject needs and solutions.
Your profile
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Software Engineering Systems Engineering or a related technical field (Mastersdegree a plus).
- Strong programming experience inPythonfor data manipulation and analysis (e.g. pandas NumPy data parsing automation scripting).
- Working knowledge ofC and Cfor systems-level or embedded development.
- Familiarity withsoftware development processes and lifecycle models(e.g. V-model Agile).
- Foundational understanding ofdata structures algorithms and version control(e.g. Git).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a structured approach to technical challenges.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex topics clearly.
- Team-oriented mindset with a proactive attitude curiosity and eagerness to learn.
- Interestin working at the intersection ofdata engineering software development and systems integrationwithin a consulting environment.
