Position: Boys JV Basketball Coach

Location: Uinta County School District #1 Evanston Wyoming

Salary: Coaching addendums are based on a formula with several factors that relate to theindividual coach and their position.

Job Summary:

To instruct all students in the fundamental skills and knowledge of basketball.
To provide an atmosphere for successful individual development through monitoring evaluating and reinforcing.
To provide a healthy and safe environment be sure to follow all UCSD#1 policies and procedures as they relate to activities.

Qualifications:

Possess all certificates required for the State of Wyoming
Have a fundamental knowledge of basketball.
Ability to select from a variety of instruction methods to teach activity objectives.
A Certificate in CPR and First Aid is required. Certification must be provided.

Working Conditions:

Supervise all Boys JV Basketball programs.
Supervise athletes at all events on the bus and at practice.
Organize and conduct basketball tryouts.
Make arrangements for approved travel and supervise students on trips.
Help keep an accurate and up-to-date inventory.
Assume responsibility for the constant care of equipment and facilities used in the program.
Have a thorough understanding of the rules and regulations regarding the basketball program.
Perform other duties or tasks related to the basketball program as requested.
Will be responsible for supervising students on out-of-town activities. This will involve staying overnight.
