The Role
Join ABC News in Adelaide as part of a dynamic team producing high-quality engaging and informative content fortelevisiondigital video-on-demand and social platforms. This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced newsroom environment offering the opportunity to contribute creatively to the visual storytelling that defines ABC News.
The Job
- Use accomplished video editing skills to support the production of impactful ABC News content.
- Collaborate with journalists producers and directors to deliver visually compelling news stories.
- Contribute to various aspects of news productionincluding camera work photography media ingesting and graphic design.
- Create digital-first content optimised for web social and on-demand platforms.
- Work effectively within tight deadlines and rotating shifts across a seven-day roster.
- Communicate clearly and openly with the SA News leadership team accepting and applying creative feedback.

About You
Yourea creative and technically skilled operator with a passion for news and visual storytelling.
Youllhave:
- Proven experience in high-quality video editing for news and current affairs.
- Skills ineditingcameraoperationand/orphotography(desirable).
- Familiarity with digital and social video platforms and audience engagement strategies.
- **** Current and valid Drivers Licenceis essential with a willingness and flexibility to travel to remote locations.
