About The Role:
As an Operator Labourer - Sweeping you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and safety of our city. Success in this role means operating plant and equipment efficiently undertaking general labouring duties and delivering outstanding customer service. Youll work flexibly across teams with early starts late finishes and weekend work as required. Your contributions will help us achieve our organisational and community goals and youll be part of a team that takes pride in delivering an innovative customer experience.
About You:
As the successful candidate you will:
- Hold an MR Truck Licence and a White Card (both essential)
- Have experience in sweeping civil infrastructure maintenance or horticultural practices (desirable)
- Be able to operate heavy machinery and hand-held motorised tools safely
- Demonstrate effective communication skills and a positive can do attitude
- Be self-motivated flexible and able to work independently or as part of a team
- Have basic computing skills and can maintain accurate records
- Understand the importance of health safety and child-safe environments
- Appreciate the Charles Sturt community and demonstrate behaviour consistent with our organisational values.

About Our Team:
City Utilities drives the management of electricity water gas waste and recycling services while maintaining the Citys cleanliness and sustainability. It oversees operations such as the Beverley Recycling and Waste Centre public waste services street sweeping and keeping the lights on and the grass green.
The Detail:
The position is offered on a full-time permanent basis and is classified at ME6 with a starting salary of $76963.37 per annum Super. The benefits of joining the City of Charles Sturt also include:
