As a Project Document Controller you will be responsible for managing and controlling all project documentation throughout its lifecycle ensuring accuracy accessibility and compliance with company standards and project requirements. You will play a crucial role in supporting project teams by maintaining an organized and efficient document control.

Job Responsibilities
* Implement and maintain a comprehensive document control system for various projects adhering to Hitachi Energys policies and procedures.
* Receive register distribute and track all incoming and outgoing project documentation including drawings specifications reports correspondence and contracts.
* Ensure all documents are properly coded numbered categorized and filed according to established protocols.
* Manage document revisions ensuring that only the latest approved versions are accessible and distributed to relevant stakeholders.
* Facilitate document review and approval workflows tracking progress and chasing outstanding actions from various departments and external parties.
* Maintain an accurate and up-to-date document register and audit trails.
* Prepare and issue document control reports and metrics to project management.
* Provide training and support to project team members on document control procedures and systems.
* Collaborate with internal departments (e.g. Engineering Procurement Quality) and external contractors/clients to ensure seamless document flow.
* Assist in the preparation of project handover documentation and archiving at project completion.
* Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities within the document control process.

Job Qualifications
* MBO/HBO degree in Business Administration Information Management or a related field.
* About 3-5 years of experience in a Document Controller role preferably within an engineering construction or manufacturing environment.
* Proficiency in document management systems (DMS) and electronic data management (EDM) software.
* Strong computer skills including advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel Outlook PowerPoint).
* Familiarity with various document types and their respective control requirements (e.g. engineering drawings technical specifications legal documents).
* Excellent organizational skills with a strong attention to detail and accuracy.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
* Proactive self-motivated and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced project environment.
* Problem-solving aptitude and a commitment to continuous improvement.
* Fluent in both Dutch and English written and spoken.
