Job Summary
Job Title: Registered Nurse Endoscopy Unit
Location: Ithaca NY 14850
Duration: 13 Weeks (Contract with possible extension)
Shift: 4x10 Hour Day Shifts Includes On-Call Rotation
Schedule: Weekdays Weeknights Weekends and Holidays as required
Pay Rate: Competitive Weekly Gross
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Endoscopy Unit in a fast-paced hospital environment. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality pre- intra- and post-procedural care to patients undergoing endoscopic and gastroenterological procedures. This position requires flexibility attention to detail and a commitment to delivering excellent patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct nursing care to patients before during and after endoscopic procedures.
Monitor vital signs and patient responses ensuring safety throughout the procedure.
Assist physicians with endoscopy procedures and maintain sterile field integrity.
Administer medications as ordered and document patient information accurately.
Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate patient care and follow-up.
Participate in on-call rotation for weeknights weekends and holidays as scheduled.
Requirements:
Active Registered Nurse License (New York State or Compact).
BLS and ACLS certifications required (AHA).
Minimum 2 years of recent Endoscopy or procedural RN experience preferred.
Flexibility to work 8 or 10-hour shifts with required on-call assignments.
Must be available for holiday or holiday weekend coverage (e.g. 12/25/25 1/1/26 or adjacent weekends).

Shift Type: Day Shift (8 or 10 hours)
Typical Schedule: 4 shifts per week
Call Requirements: Weeknights weekends and holidays on a rotating basis
