Location: Logan Health Medical Center Kalispell Montana

Shift: Day Shift 8 Hours FullTime 40 Hours

Are you passionate about keeping digital environments secure and organized As an Information Security (IS) Identity and Access Management (IAM) Analyst youll play a key role in safeguarding our systems and ensuring the right people have the right access at the right time. From managing user identities to strengthening cybersecurity practices this role combines technical precision analytical thinking and a commitment to protecting sensitive data across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and maintain identity and access management systems and processes including user provisioning de-provisioning and authentication.

  • Manage user accounts and permissions from onboarding new users to modifying or deactivating accounts as needed.

  • Monitor and analyze access logs to identify potential security risks or unauthorized activity.

  • Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and best practices including HIPAA and PCI-DSS standards.

  • Collaborate across departments to understand evolving access needs and build secure efficient solutions.

  • Partner with the cybersecurity team to detect investigate and resolve vulnerabilities within IAM systems.

  • Maintain consistent reliable attendance and contribute to a culture of accountability and excellence.

  • Perform other related duties as assigned to support the success and security of the organization.

Required Qualifications:

  • Education & Experience:

    • Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience that provides comparable knowledge and abilities.

    • Minimum of one (1) year of experience in identity and access management.

    • Experience with identity and access management tools such as Active Directory and Single Sign-On (SSO).

    • Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations including HIPAA and PCI-DSS.

  • Skills & Competencies:

    • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with high attention to detail.

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage a wide range of audiences.

    • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism and discretion.

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to quickly learn new software tools.

    • Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also excelling independently.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Professional certifications such as SSCP Security Microsoft Identity and Access Administrator or CISSP.

  • Prior experience in cybersecurity network administration or a related technical field.

  • Strong critical thinking and analytical skills you enjoy digging into details to solve complex problems.

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and a calm professional approach when navigating sensitive or high-impact issues.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of one (1) of the following required:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to communicate effectively with various audiences.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact professionalism and diplomacy.

  • Possess and maintain computer skills to include working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn other software as needed.

Job Specific Duties:

  • Implements and maintains identity and access management systems and processes including user provisioning de-provisioning and authentication.

  • Manages user accounts and permissions including set up of new accounts modifying existing accounts and deactivating accounts as needed.

  • Monitors and analyzes access logs to identify and address potential security risks or breaches.

  • Ensures compliance with relevant laws and regulations such as the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPPA) Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS) and relevant best practices and standards.

  • Works with various teams across the organization to understand identity and access management needs and ensures systems and processes are in place to meet those needs.

  • Collaborates with cybersecurity team to identify and address any vulnerabilities in the organizations identity and access management systems.

Logan Health operates 24 hours per day seven days per week. Schedules are set to accommodate the requirements of the position and the needs of the organization and may be adjusted as needed.
