Job Summary
Security Officer
Are you a dependable and observant individual looking to make a difference in a retail environment We are seeking professional Retail Security Officers to join our team at a busy mall on Long Island. Whether youre looking for full-time stability or part-time flexibility we have positions to match your schedule.
Responsibilities:
Maintain a strong visible presence to deter theft and ensure public safety
Conduct regular patrols of the property including stores parking areas and common spaces
Monitor surveillance systems and respond to security incidents promptly and professionally
Provide excellent customer service while enforcing site policies and procedures
Collaborate with mall management law enforcement and emergency services when needed
Complete incident reports accurately and in a timely manner
Qualifications:
MUST BE WILLING TO TRAVEL TO GARDEN CITY NY
Valid NYS Security Guard License required
Valid NYS Drivers License required
Must be at least 18 years of age
MUST HAVE WEEKEND AVAILABILITY
Strong communication and observation skills
- MUST be willing to stand for duration of shifts
Professional demeanor and a commitment to customer service
Prior retail or mall security experience is a plus
MUST be willing to work weekends and evenings (10:00AM to 6:00PM) OR (4:00PM to 12:00AM)
